Numbers you can trust
On APFS, deleting a file doesn't always free its size: copies can share space, and snapshots can hold on to it. So ClearMac says “up to” for estimates and measures free space before and after every cleanup.
Measured, not guessed
History shows what each cleanup really freed, and what comes back later when you empty the Trash or a snapshot expires.

Change your mind with Undo, or Put Back in History. Emptying the Trash is a separate step that asks first.
Cloud files stay put
ClearMac never downloads cloud-only files to look at them, and never removes anything in iCloud Drive or other cloud folders.

Questions
Will ClearMac make my Mac faster?
No, and we won't claim it. ClearMac frees disk space. A Mac that's almost out of space can feel slow, and freeing space helps with that, but that's all.
Can I undo a cleanup?
Yes. Everything goes to the Trash, and you can undo it, or put items back from ClearMac's History, until you empty the Trash. The only exceptions are a tool's own cleanup commands, which are clearly labeled “Can't be undone” and only offered for things the tool downloads again.
Why does it need Full Disk Access?
macOS hides some folders, like Mail and Safari data, from apps without it. ClearMac works without it, but can't measure or explain what it can't see. How to turn it on.
Does the AI send my files anywhere?
No. ClearMac uses Apple's on-device model, and only gives it names, sizes and dates, never the contents of files. The AI only explains; ClearMac's rules decide what's safe, and the AI can't select anything for removal.
What happens when the trial ends?
ClearMac keeps working as the free version. Nothing is locked away and nothing is deleted.
How many Macs can I use Pro on?
Up to 3 Macs of your own. You can move a license from one Mac to another in Settings.
